April 19, 2016 - 154th Day As An iOS Developer
TUESDAY - This is the day that I learned about this IDFA stuff - Identification For Advertisers. Well, I learned this when I handled the old app of the company called PINOY CPA. I gave support for the latest iOS Devices to the 20 apps of this project, the 10 apps of this project are all lite versions and therefore has limited features as well as annoying adverts that popup to infuriate you. Going on, when I submitted those 20 apps to the App Store, the 10 full versions got accepted and the 10 lite versions got rejected. The reason was about this IDFA.
Apple gave me hints why the lite version apps got rejected. They told me to give them some instructions how to make the adverts popup/show. Well, that was easy. They just don't know how to reproduce the apps. So what I did was I gave them the step by step procedure on how to reproduce the adverts - meaning, how to make those popup. After that, I re-submitted the 10 apps just to be sure that they will review the apps as soon as possible.
FIN.
